An inside look at the genesis of revolts. Revolt is a universal phenomenon. It can be triggered everywhere irrespective of the causes. However the true revolt, the one that undermines a political regime is indeed a rare phenomenon. No matter the magnitude or the level of violence of the protest movements, they do not always escalate into a revolt.
